During the winter, it may seem that there’s no better sanctuary from the cold than being curled up under blankets on your couch. But before you retreat onto those soft cushions, consider taking the time to set up a bath.

Adding some luxurious bubbles to your routine can quickly melt away your problems, especially after a lengthy week. So, reset your senses and recover from those long workdays with one of these ultra-soothing soaks (none of which contain ingredients you can’t pronounce). Soothing Floral Bath Soak

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried milk

  • ¼ cup baking soda

  • ¼ cup dry oats

  • ¼ cup dried flowers

  • 5-7 drops of essential oils of your choice

Directions:

Combine dried milk, baking soda, and dry oats in a blender and pulse until oats are finely ground and mixed in well. Add your favorite dried flowers and/or 5-7 drops of essential oil (a great option is a mixture of ylang ylang, ginger, and chamomile) and pulse a few more times to combine. Pour about a quarter of the mixture into the tub and store the rest in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
