The exterior facade covering several stories of a National Employment Service building was seen falling off the structure on video posted to Twitter.
A student of a Mexico City school that collapsed after a powerful earthquake hit the capital Tuesday told a local reporter that he escaped because of an earthquake drill held earlier in the day. Search-and-rescue teams continue to frantically search for victims trapped under the rubble of the Enrique Rebsamen primary and secondary schools more than 24 hours after the earthquake struck. Rodrigo Heredia, 13, told a reporter for Televisa in Spanish that the escaped the building because school protocol took him and others down a set of safe stairs and out to a meeting point.

The "Hand in Hand" hurricane relief benefit is estimated to have raised more than $55 million for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The star-studded telethon was broadcast on Sept. 12 and raised $14 million in the first hour, organizers said today, and within a few hours increased that amount to $44 million. Comic Relief USA will manage the grants made from the telethon and distribute them to charities including the Rebuild Texas Fund, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Feeding Florida, Feeding Texas, Direct Relief, ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Society, United Way of Greater Houston, United Way Irma Recovery Fund and the Mayor's Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief, which is administered through the Greater Houston Community Foundation.

Boxing legend Jake LaMotta, who inspired the 1980 Oscar-winning film "Raging Bull," died on Tuesday. LaMotta's wife, Denise Baker, confirmed his death to ABC News and said he died from complications of pneumonia. The Republican National Committee spent over $230,000 last month to cover President Donald Trump's legal fees related to the investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, an RNC official confirmed for ABC News. The money went to two members of Trump's personal legal team: $131,250 to Jay Sekulow and $100,000 to John Dowd through their law firms. Five football players from Wheaton College -- a Christian school in Illinois -- are facing felony charges for allegedly assaulting another student last year. The alleged incident happened in March 2016 in Wheaton, about 25 miles west of Chicago, during which the alleged victim claims he was taken forcefully out of his dorm room, restrained against his will and left at a baseball field, Wheaton Police Chief Jim Volpe said Tuesday. According to an investigation report obtained by ABC News, the alleged victim told school investigators that he was in a dorm when several people burst in, held him down, "violently" pulled his arms behind him and wrapped duct tape around his ankles and wrists.
