Today’s cake might blow your mind. Not only because it comes from the mind of a 20-year-old, Glazed and Confused blogger Graham Blackall, but also because it’s a Chicken and Waffles Cake. That’s fried chicken, and waffles, in a cake.

New Orleans-based Blackall dreams up many drool-worthy dessert recipes for Glazed and Confused, including Coffee and Beignet Ice Cream Sandwiches and Peanut Butter Cup Pots de Creme. And despite his young age, his work can already been seen in Food & Wine magazine, Thrillist, and The Huffington Post.

His chicken and waffles creation marks the one-year anniversary of Blackall’s blog. He admits that “chicken and waffles in cake form is probably the most unhealthy and seemingly repulsive thing I’ve posted to date, but…don’t knock it until you try it. It’s next-level delicious.” He starts with vanilla-buttermilk cake and layers it with maple syrup buttercream and spicy sage caramel. For a garnish: chicken nuggets and a Belgian waffle.

Are you brave enough to try it? Let us know if you do.
