What’s Ralph Lauren Serving for Dinner? Check Out the Menu for His New Polo Bar Restaurant

Everyone knows that Ralph Lauren is the world’s most successful fashion designer. But did you know he’s also a player on the food scene? The Polo Bar, his fourth eatery, opens today in Manhattan, right next to his Fifth Avenue Polo flagship.
The space is classic Ralph Lauren, with equestrian touches, aged leather banquettes, and hunter green walls, plus a menu filled with the standard bearers of great American cuisine. There’s roast chicken with mashed potatoes, “Ralph’s corned beef sandwich,” and the crispy bacon-topped Polo Bar Burger, which may well become a dinner-time hit (especially if followed by coffee ice cream made with Lauren’s custom coffee blend).
