What If McDonald’s Advertised Like Apple?

Imagine if a McDonald’s advertisement looked as captivating as an Apple ad. Picture Mickey D’s Big Mac and fries marketed with minimalist type, a white background, and an innovative CEO rattling off terms like “refined,” “complexity,” and “extraordinary.”

That’s how BuzzFeed reimagined a McDonald’s television ad, which in the above video sells French fries, chicken nuggets, and a Big Mac as culinary innovations bound to redefine fast food for the next generation.

“We wanted to rethink food and create something extraordinary,” the fake ad claims.

For example, the chicken nugget is marketed as “what happens when machinery meats meat. Though chicken is never mentioned as an ingredient, the ad explains: “To change the way we experience chicken is to change chicken itself.”

If only all fast food joints had such lofty corporate missions.
