Three Easy Ways to Dress Up A Store-Bought Cheesecake

Yahoo Food is proud to present “The Tipline,” a video series giving you tips, tricks, and hacks to get you through the holiday season and weeknight dinners alike. Today’s tip: three ways to upgrade store-bought cheesecake.

Cheesecake is great on its own, but you might want to dress up the dessert for a party or event to give it a little pizazz.

Just like our video on how to upgrade a store-bought pie, this “Tipline” video outlines three easy ways to upgrade your store-bought cheesecake. With these homemade additions, no one will suspect your dessert was pre-made.

Add a stencil with powdered sugar or cocoa powder to make a fun design on top of the cake. Or, slice the cheesecake into squares for single-serve cheesecake pops.

You can also top the cake with extra cranberry sauce left over from your holiday dinner to add a fruity kick.
