Lisianthus Flower Arrangement Recipe

FLOWERS
5 stems of lisianthus
4 stems of amaranthus
5 roses
3 branches of viburnum berries
4 small feathers

VESSELS
3 small glass cups

1. Choose three small cups of uniform size and shape to create a wide and airy arrangement. (Our cups came wrapped in burlap.)

2. Trim six open blooms from the stems of lisianthus and set them aside. Cut apart the lisianthus stems into 8-inch sections. Trim and add two pieces to each cup. Trim and add a third piece to the cups on the right and left, angling the tips so that they reach out wide on both sides. Trim and add two of the reserved open blooms to each cup, keeping the bottom of the blooms close to the rims.

3. Trim and add one stem of amaranthus to each cup so that the bottom of the bloom rests on the rim. Add the remaining stem to the center cup so that the tip of the bloom sits at the highest point in the composition.

4. Trim and place two roses in the cups on the ends and one in the center cup, clustering them around the open blooms of lisianthus. Next, trim the branches of viburnum berries and add one to each cup. Finish by tucking in the feathers around the roses.
