Recipes for a Whole 30 Thanksgiving

We admit: Dietary restraint isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when we think of Thanksgiving. But Whole30 adherents will be quick to tell you that the regimen isn’t exactly a diet — it’s a lifestyle — and that means staying strong in the face of gravy-soaked bread stuffing, gooey pecan pies, and butter-basted turkey.

Fortunately, Whole30-friendly Thanksgiving feasts don’t have to be boring. Yes, the Whole30 eschews all grains, legumes, seeds, nuts, soy, and sugar. But as I learned from my month-long flirtation with the diet, Whole30-compliant fare can be rich and flavorful thanks to good-quality meat, aromatic herbs, and a hearty helping of vegetables.

Here are some of our favorite recipes befitting of a delicious Whole30 Thanksgiving. We promise, you won’t feel like you’re missing out.
