Jay Z Makes Sideline Beverages Slick, Sips Cognac at the Grammys

At last night’s 56th annual Grammy Awards, the Staples Center played host to The Coolest Drink That Was Ever Drunk by the Coolest Person Ever. Because:
1. Jay Z is drinking cognac, a variety of brandy that’s seen a rise in popularity in the past couple years. (Perhaps it’s trending because of Jay Z?) At the recently opened Rotisserie Georgette in New York, for example, a glass might arrive at your table whether you request it or not.
2. The cognac is his own. Well, he doesn’t make D’USSE Cognac, but he endorses it, which means he likely has a lifetime supply (all the better for sharing with friends, as you’ll see below).
3. He’s drinking it in the appropriate glass, a snifter, which he brought with him.
4. No one asked him to “please refrain from drinking in your seat during the Grammy Awards” because…
5. He is Jay Z.
6. He is married to this woman.
