'Man vs Waiter' Says Everything You Were Thinking About Surly Servers
In a perfect world, every waiter would be like that guy at your favorite neighborhood cafe, who knows his patrons on sight and furtively slips them gratis glugs of wine, all the while complimenting this outfit or those shoes.
But what a cold, unforgiving world it is. Too often your waiter is snippy, inattentive, or can’t believe you’ve never heard of merquén. We wager that the comedians behind the web show "I Hate Being Single" are more than a tad familiar with this phenomenon, recently explored in a five-clip series aptly titled, “Man vs. Waiter,” which finishes up today.
The clips pose a few classic and terrible waiter conundrums, including “Why does everyone else have bread except us?”; “Why the heck doesn’t this place take credit cards?”; and “Is the waiter taunting me?!”
