Make This Jewish-Inspired Chinese Fried Rice for Christmas

Yes, Jewish people celebrate Christmas. They just do it with lo mein and Kung Pao chicken.

It’s a Christmas tradition for many Jewish families to eat Chinese food on Dec. 25, so chef Ed Schoenfeld has cooked up the ultimate culinary mashup to celebrate.

Schoenfeld, a master of Chinese cuisine who heads up the acclaimed RedFarm restaurant in New York, cooks up a Jewish-inspired Chinese fried rice made with pastrami, salami, and hot dogs to be enjoyed on Christmas in this video for Bon Appetit.

The dish, paired with Redfarm’s pastrami egg rolls packed, will make even Santa Claus say L'chaim!
