Macauley Culkin, who reached the ripe old age of 33 this year, has taken it upon himself to start a cover band. And not just any cover band! One featuring songs by The Velvet Underground, an iconic ’70s band whose lead singer Lou Reed recently passed away.

And not just any cover songs! The onetime child star, whose film “Home Alone” we can likely expect to see all the hell over the place this holiday season, is apparently obsessed with pizza. He and his friends have transformed the iconic song “Beginning to See the Light” by calling it “I’m Beginning to Eat the Slice,” and turned “Stephanie Says” into “Papa John Says.”

Sample lyrics include, for their cover of the famous “Perfect Day”:

“It’s Such a Pizza Day

I’m glad I spent it with food.

Oh, such a pizza day, you just keep the oven on…”

Should Culkin keep his day job? We will let the Internet be the judge of that.

Listen to the medley of songs here or, you know, just eat a pizza while listening to The Velvet Underground.
