"Ma’am? Ma’am? You do realize this is the front room of a strip club, yes?"

Yes, we do. And we’re chatting with the woman who answered the phone at the Spearmint Rhino, a gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas, because bartender Erik Mora just smashed the Guinness World Record for most cocktails made in a single hour. Mora’s final count: 1,559 cocktails, beating the former record by 556 drinks.

In order to qualify, Mora was tasked with pouring drinks that contained at least three ingredients plus one type of alcohol. And, oh yeah, no cocktail could be repeated. That’s a tall order, but in the below video it looks like at least Mora had some help lining up the ice-filled glasses. (A Guinness World Record official was on hand to make sure everything was kosher.)

Unfortunately, we couldn’t wrangle Mora for comment—the club is open 24 hours a day, so maybe he was sleeping off a late night? But in a press release Mora said that he applied to Guinness World Records back in January and feels like, “now all my hard work has paid off.”

Look at him go!
