Forget Breakfast Burritos — Breakfast Pizza Will Be Your New Favorite

The pizza for breakfast you might know is probably the leftover slice from last night’s dinner that you chomp on in the morning when you’re too lazy to cook eggs. But Buzzfeed introduces a revamped, egg and bacon-topped alternative in this fun video. (It actually requires some work, though. Sorry, lazy eaters.)

Here’s how to make it: Start off with rolling pizza dough on a floured surface. When it’s thinned out, place it on an oven-safe pan that’s lightly coated with nonstick spray. Drizzle the top of the dough with olive oil and spread it out with a spoon. Now you’re ready for toppings.

Begin by coating the face of the pizza with a layer of shredded cheese, a generous sprinkle of crumbled bacon, and a couple handfuls of tater tots – or hash browns, if you’d like. Crack three eggs at the center and season the whole pizza. Bake it in the oven at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or whenever the eggs are cooked to your liking.

When it’s done, let it cool, slice it up, take a bite, and congratulate yourself on making an epic breakfast.
