Get an Exclusive Look at Christina Tosi’s ‘Milk Bar Life’ Cookbook Trailer

It’s been quite a year for Christina Tosi. The mad genius behind and founder of the quirky, NYC-based chain of Milk Bar bakeries — known for addictive confections like cereal milk-flavored soft serve ice cream and naked layer cakes — became co-host of MasterChef and MasterChef Junior , won the 2015 James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef Award and published her second cookbook, Milk Bar Life, all before summer arrived.

When the latter tome came out April 7, it was featured soon after as a Yahoo Food ‘Cookbook of the Week,’ for inspiring home cooks and aspiring chefs with its high-low brand of unexpected comfort recipes such as Cheesy Onions, Hershey’s Kiss Roll, Kimchi Quesadillas and Fruity Pebble Meringues.

Now, months later, Tosi has bucked convention once again.

If you’ve yet to flip through the pages of Milk Bar Life at your local bookstore, a new trailer has been exclusively released to Yahoo Food that offers a taste of what’s inside. The quick, irreverent video is as sweet and salty as one of Tosi’s renowned slices of Crack Pie, flashing viewers drool-worthy centerfolds of after-hour dishes and her staff’s family meals.

Take a gander and see if you don’t find yourself craving some Salt & Pepper Cookies.
