Dwayne Johnson, Bass Farmer?

"One of my lil’ babies on our farm…" wrote Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, on his Instagram account Friday morning. The post, which also included the hashtags #IRaiseEmFatAndAggressive and #ProudBassPapa was accompanied by a close-up photo of Johnson holding one of his fish.
Which left us thinking… “Wait, The Rock owns a farm?”
We decided to investigate on Johnson’s social media channels.
"Bass, carp, bullheads and sunnies.. I raise em fat on the farm," he wrote earlier this week alongside the photo below.

Then there’s this photo, posted to his Facebook account on July 6, 2012, with the caption, “Been raisin’ my bass since they were babies… Vicious strikers. I’m a proud papa!” (Vicious strikers of… smaller fish? Frogs? Crayfish? Call us, The Rock.)

It appears, too, he’s been in the bass farming game for at least a few years. “Was away on my farm w/ no cell service—my family, my horses and my bass. Bringing it on the farm,” he tweeted in 2011.
Wait, horses?!

Horses! ”My main man ‘Scoobs’ - nicknamed ‘The Beef,’” he tweeted the same day.

Our verdict? Johnson’s farm claim seems to be legit. Let us know if you ever need a fishing buddy, Dwayne!
