Amazing Oreo Trick Shots You Have to See to Believe

How many ways can you dunk an Oreo into milk? Quite a few, apparently.

Peter Bamforth, who lives in Surrey, of the United Kingdom, created this video to demonstrate exactly how many different Oreo trick shots he’s mastered, all of which end with an Oreo plunking into a tall glass of milk.

First, there’s the long-distance shot in his workshop. Then a rebound shot off the wall, then the floor, and right into the glass. Next, he heads upstairs to show that distance and height are no challenge — the cookie sandwich soars right into that milk.

With a total of nine stunts in all, each more tricky than the last, you have to see the above video to truly appreciate his skill.

Peter is not new to filming antics on YouTube. His channel is littered with time-lapse, slow-mo, and reverse videos featuring such feats as un-melting an Easter bunny on the stove and getting slapped in the face by a fish.

We caught up with Bamforth to learn more.

Yahoo Food: How long did it take you to perfect these shots?

Bamforth: Most of the shots did take a fair bit of time to set up and get right. However, the shot where I throw the Oreo over a shelf and it breaks on the glass was actually my first attempt! So it was a little annoying when it broke but I think it’s a nice addition to the video anyway.

How long have you been practicing?

About four years ago some friends and I actually made a ping-pong trick shots video, so I guess you could say I’ve had a certain amount of practice. But it was just something that popped into my head that I thought would be different and fun to do over the Easter holidays when I had a lot of free time.

What motivated you to do this?

I love creating short videos that are slightly quirky or unique in some way and Oreos and milk [are] so iconic so I thought, “Why not play around with that idea?” Also, trick shot videos are always fun. I think Oreo has a campaign #playwithoreo going around at the moment so it was perfect timing as well.

What’s your day job?

At the moment I’m a student doing film production in London.

Bamforth says he wasn’t paid by Oreos to make this video — but judging how great his trick shots are, maybe he should be!
