29 Smoothies You Should Be Sipping Before Summer Ends

Smoothies are possibly one of the most popular things to come out of this summer (aside from maybe rice burgers, Ben & Jerry’s SNL-themed ice cream flavors and anything with avocados), from juice and smoothie cleanses to the most satisfying after-gym snack. Grab a blender and start pureeing all the fruit in your house before the summer comes to a close and you head back to school.
1. The Ultimate Poolside Smoothie Sipper
2. Chocolate Almond Kiss Dessert Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
½ cup dark chocolate chips (at least 70% cacao mass)
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 pitted dates
3 heaping tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
1 scoop vanilla protein powder*
Ice
*Use whatever protein powder you prefer: vanilla whey, soy, hemp or almond.
Directions:
Blend together until smooth except small bits of chocolate chips.

Ingredients:
¾ cup almond milk
1 banana
Handful of green grapes (around 10-15)
2 kale leaves, roughly torn (or substitute 1 cup spinach)
½ cucumber
½ avocado
Handful ice
Directions:
Blend until combined.
