"Zodiac Nails" Are the Perfect Manicure Trend To Distract You From Mercury in Retrograde

For whatever reason, Mercury in retrograde has been hitting me quite hard. As my sun sign is Gemini, I'm feeling the effects optical illusion effects of being the sign that Mercury rules. To make myself feel better, I took to TikTok to see what the girlies were doing, and to my surprise, #ZodiacNails were the first thing that popped up — denoting that we are going to get through this thing fly as ever.

With over 1.3 billion views on TikTok, the aesthetic couldn't be befitting for the season. Brittney Boyce, manicurist to our fave "IT" girl Megan Fox recently posted a pic of the star's monochrome, almond-shaped nails where each zodiac sign was etched into the manicure, setting up to be a perfect way to come out swinging at the universe during this planetary sensation

We're currently in Taurus season, so much like the sign of the bulls, fans of zodiac nails want to represent their star signs with personal nail art inspo. Much like Beyonce's song "Signs," where she pays homage to each zodiac and what she loves about each sign, many are decorating their nail beds with the entire astrology chart while some are opting for all of the zodiacs that make up their horoscope.

Futuristic/celestialcore took over New York's Fall/Winter 2023 runways and is picking back up with the zodiac nail trend ahead of the upcoming summer months. For those who may not want to lean into the dark and moody version, such as how Fox displayed the trend, try opting for pinky or milky nails finish for a chic and minimalist appeal.

We've rounded up a few zodiac nail ideas to bookmark before your next manicure appointment. Stay safe during this retrograde, friends.
