The Met Gala is typically packed with surprising style moments, but we can always, always count on Zendaya to deliver an unforgettable (and on theme!) ensemble on fashion's biggest night. She didn't take her responsibility as co-chair lightly, stepping out in a bewitching Maison Margiela Artisanal gown custom-made for her by John Galliano.

Styled by Law Roach, as always, Zendaya wore a duchess satin-corseted, sage lamé and organza bias-cut dress, featuring bands of metallic crin that flow throughout the garment — riffing off of Maison Margiela's viral 2024 Artisanal runway collection. She topped it off with an emerald green veil, a hat wrapped in stockings donning a dramatic feather by Stephen Jones and custom Tabi pumps by Christian Louboutin for Maison Margiela.

We need to take a second to appreciate Z's makeup, too: Her razor-thin eyebrows pay homage to those of 1920s starlets, while her sultry smokey eyes and vampy lip color immediately draw us in.

And just like that, Zendaya remains a Met Gala all-star.
