Zendaya Got Asked on a Date By a Man During an 'Euphoria' Panel Q&A
Zendaya Coleman was forced to politely decline a stranger's very public date request during a Euphoria cast panel in Austin, Texas. Page Six reports that during the audience Q&A portion, one man asked Coleman two pretty personal questions. She handled them as well as anyone could with an auditorium watching.
The man, who introduced himself as Mikal, started by asking her “did you literally inhale the good stuff? The weed?” because she plays a drug addict recently out of rehab on the upcoming HBO show.
She answered truthfully: “No, I don’t do any of that, so it was definitely a foreign thing for me." Then Mikal went for it and asked her on a date to Austin ice cream shop Amy’s.
Coleman did what anyone would do when they aren't interested but don't want to be rude or cause any scandal during a work event. She told him she appreciated the offer but shucks, it won't work with her schedule. “Yo, if I had time I would, because I love ice cream, and I appreciate that," she started.
Mikal persisted, Page Six reported. “Is that a no or a maybe?” he asked her.
She responded that it was a “we’ll see,” and then Mikal said she could bring a plus one since she doesn't know him.
That gave Coleman a way to cleverly end the exchange. She laughed and told the audience, “we all going,” and then went back to business answering other audience questions. The things women go through out there...
