Zelenskyy admits to worsening of his eyesight – documentary

During a conversation with Komarov in a train compartment, the president admitted that he could not read what was written on the label of a tea bag.

“A lot of people were working when there wasn’t proper lighting, because we didn’t use full lighting,” Zelesnkyy said.

“The guards said: ‘Let’s go a little less (on lights).’ We worked hard for many months. And then the vision got a little worse.”

“I don’t use lenses, I read with glasses. That’s the way it is now. Everything’s OK.”

Komarov has been interviewing the Ukrainian president for a documentary called “Year” about the president’s experiences during a year of full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

In another part of the documentary, Zelenskyy shows the room in which he lives in the Office of the President on Bankova Street in Kyiv.
