Rising Oklahoma country music star Zach Bryan is celebrating his first Grammy Award win by releasing his new music video starring Oscar-winning actor and Texas native Matthew McConaughey.

A prolific singer, songwriter, and producer, Bryan, who hails from Oologah, and duet partner Kacey Musgraves won the golden gramophone for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their smash single "I Remember Everything" Sunday, Feb. 4 during the 66th Annual Grammy Awards pretelecast ceremony.

Just after noon Monday, Feb. 5, Bryan unleashed the eagerly awaited video for “Nine Ball," the opening track from his for his acclaimed 2023 EP "Boys Of Faith," which boasts appearances from Bon Iver and Noah Kahan.

The singer-songwriter has been teasing the video on social media for the past week, sharing a poster and an 11-second clip on X (formerly Twitter).

Who else stars in Zach Bryan's 'Nine Ball' video?

Along with McConaughey ("Interstellar," "Mud"), the "Nine Ball" video features actors Tye Sheridan ("Ready Player One," "Mud") and Scott Shepherd (the Oklahoma-made movie "Killers of the Flower Moon").

The video is directed by Matthew Dillon Cohen, who previously helmed the videos for Bryan's "Oklahoma Smokeshow" and his Bon Iver collaboration "Boys of Faith," along with videos for Olivia Rodrigo, Junior Varsity and Gus Dapperton.

The "Nine Ball" video brings the lyrics to life in a poignant barroom drama, with McConaughey playing the narrator’s father. It depicts a father-and-son journey in a small-town pool hall told across 20 years. The story explores the way our perceptions of our fathers change as we grow older.
