Ye Calls Kai Cenat An “Industry Plant” On The “Wrong Side”

Ye shares his candid opinion on Kai Cenat during a new interview. The rapper, formerly known as Kanye West, discussed the streamer’s career and more during an episode of The Download podcast with Justin Laboy. In a clip making rounds on social media, the 46-year-old says Cenat is on the “wrong side of the future,” as he explained his thoughts on the New York Native.

“If you’re posting something negative, you’re just on the wrong side of the future because…. we out here stepping away from Adidas. Like, the sh*t that Kai sent, that’s some industry plant sh*t.”

He continued to detail the reasoning behind his opinion as Laboy suggested, “So he’s an industry plant?”

“Of course!” exclaimed the Chicago-bred musician. “That exact genre is the most industry plants… it’s about like influence and mind control. And then he gonna mention my daughter’s name a week later. Don’t mention my daughter’s name and then you dissing what’s paying their $200,000 a month child support… That don’t make God happy.”

The diss referred to by the Yeezy creator happened last month when Kai Cenat hopped online to share his VULTURES merchandise with his followers and fans. In the stream, the viral personality joked as the pants he received were multiple sizes too big for his body.

Ye then shared a message, opposing the jokes, that Cenat shared with his audience.

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, the Grammy Award-winning musician debuted his own  “Like That (Remix),” where he aims at Drake and J. Cole. The rapper claimed that he was asked to remix the No. 1 charting song by Future.

“You know we had to get the hooligans up here to get these pu**y ni**as out/ Yo Dot, I got you,” he rapped. “Y’all so out of sight, out of mind/ I can’t even think of a Drake line/ Play J. Cole, get the pu**y dry/ Play this sh*t back 130 times,” Ye raps over the Metro Boomin beat.
