WWE NXT Spoilers For 5/21 (Taped On 5/14)

On May 14, WWE taped matches and segments for the May 21 episode of WWE NXT at the WWE Performance Center. The show was double-taped due to travel for WWE King and Queen of the Ring the following week.

NXT Spoilers For 5/21

• Meta-Four interrupted a Trick Williams promo. Gallus attacked Williams, and Je’Von Evans was unsuccessful in his attempt to make the save.

• Lexis King came out, and he was followed by Mr. Stone. Stone introduced Dante Chen.

• Dante Chen defeated Lexis King

• Fallon Henley and Jaida Parker won qualifers for the NXT North American Women’s Championship ladder match at NXT Battleground by beating Thea Hail and Brinley Reece.

• It was revealed that Joe Coffey would replace Ivar in the #1 Contender’s Match for the North American Championship. Both Coffey and Wes Lee were declared the winners. As a result, Oba Femi will face Coffey and Lee at NXT Battleground.

• NXT Tag Team Championship: Axiom & Nathan Frazer def. The Family (Stacks and Luca Crusifino)

• Natalya & Karmen Petrovic def. Lola Vice & Shayna Baszler

• Vice turned on Baszler after the match. Baszler fought back, and when Ava announced that they would face each other at NXT Battleground, Baszler named NXT Underground as the stipulation.
