The Cannes Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France, which previews new films from around the world. In 2024, the 77th edition will take place from May 14 to 25. American filmmaker Greta Gerwig will serve as jury president for the main competition, while French actress Camille Cottin will host the opening and closing ceremonies. The festival will open with the film “The Second Act” directed by Quentin Dupieux. “Kinds of Kindness,” “Oh, Canada,” “The Apprentice,” “Megalopolis” and “Furiosa” are some of the movies featured in the festival this year.
