Throughout the competion, judges praised HaVon's strong vocals and even saw some comparisons to iconic powerhouses, such as Whitney Houston.

"I truly believe you're the best vocalist in this competition," singer John Legend said. "Maybe this is a lane that you should consider. … Some of the best artists in disco and house were gospel-trained and have that voice. It fit you like a glove."

What does HaVon get for winning 'The Voice?'

According to American Songwriter, winners of The Voice receive a $100,000 prize and record deal with Universal Music Group.

The outlet also points out that the contestants form relationships with their coaches, so they now have a music industry veteran to go to for advice and further mentorship.
