WAUSAU – Gabby Barrett, LOCASH and Night Ranger will headline the grandstand at the Wisconsin Valley Fair this summer.

The fair announced its entertainment lineup Friday morning on its website and Facebook page. The lineup also includes the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rodeo Aug. 2-3 and a demolition derby Aug. 4.

Barrett got her start when she came in third on Season 16 of “American Idol” in 2018 and has since gone on to become a multiplatinum country music star with hits like “The Good Ones,” “Pick Me Up” and “I Hope.” She will take the stage Aug. 1.

Country music duo LOCASH takes the stage on July 31. The group is best known for its hits “I Know Somebody,” “Three Favorite Colors,” “One Big Country Song” and “I Love this Life.” In 2022, they were nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at both the Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards.

Rock legends Night Rangers have been performing around the world for more than 40 years. Fans know them for songs such as “Sister Christian,” “(You Can Still) Rock In America,” “Don't Tell Me You Love Me” and “Sentimental Street.” They will take the main stage July 30.

All performers start at 7:30 p.m. at Marathon Park in Wausau. Pre-show events start at 7 p.m.

According to the fair’s website, all grandstand events − except the demolition derby − are included with gate admission. Gates open at 4 p.m. to let people set up chairs and blankets. Free seating includes the grandstand, the grass berms and the area between reserved seating and the grandstand.

Reserved seats cost $25 prior to the fair and $30 after the fair begins. Reserved seats include folding chairs set up directly in front of the stage.

Tickets for reserved seating go on sale March 29. You can purchase reserved seats in person at the Marathon Park office or at wisconsinvalleyfair.com.

Tickets for the demolition derby cost $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 4-10, according to the website.
