The Season 4 winner of "Blown Away" (no spoilers!) is coming to Corning.

The popular reality competition series is now streaming on Netflix. The show features 10 contestants taking on various glassblowing challenges, with the winner capturing a prize package that includes a residency at the Corning Museum of Glass.

That residency begins this week, running from April 22-26. An exhibition featuring art from each of the Season 4 contestants opened at CMoG March 9, leading up to a solo installation that showcases the victorious contestant’s final competition-winning work. The winner's exhibit went on view Saturday in the Amphitheater.

The Netflix "Blown Away" Season 4 exhibit will remain on display through January 2026 on the Museum’s West Bridge.

“CMoG’s vision is to transform the world’s understanding of the art, history, and science of glass and it has been incredibly meaningful to welcome visitors whose introduction to glassblowing has been through 'Blown Away'," said the Museum’s President and Executive Director, Dr. Karol Wight. "We hope as they tour the Museum and see works created on the show, that they learn even more about the dynamic material at the core of our mission: glass."

"We also encourage visitors to try their hand at making their own piece of glass in our new 'Make Your Own Glass Studio' workshop, which opened in winter 2023," said Wight.

The role Corning Museum of Glass plays on Season 4 of "Blown Away"

CMoG is featured prominently in Season 4 of "Blown Away." The ninth episode includes an appearance by CMoG’s Mobile Hot Shop, which serves as the site of the series’ first-ever mini-challenge. In this event, contestants were given 30 minutes to craft a Venetian-style vessel.

Resident CMoG Studio advisor William Gudenrath, a renowned glassmaking scholar, was on set as a guest evaluator.

"Dubbed the 'glass detective' for his many decades spent unravelling the secrets of glassmaking techniques in Venice and beyond, Gudenrath was also integral to the creation of The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass," CMoG described.
