White House Farm (alternatively, White House Farm Murders and The Murders at White House Farm) is a crime-drama series from the UK. The ITV show is based on a true story and follows two detectives as they investigate the gruesome murders of five people, including two children. Is there a White House Farm Season 2 release date?
There is no White House Farm Season 2 release date as New Pictures reportedly developed the show as a miniseries for ITV.
Multiple outlets list White House Farm as a miniseries. This makes sense as the show originally aired in 2020, and no information is available about a prospective Season 2. Moreover, the show finishes the story it sets to tell by the end of the sixth and final episode. As mentioned above, the series is based on the chilling true story of the White House Farm murders. In August 1985, five members of a family were found murdered in Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Essex, England. The series ends (spoilers warning) after the jury finds Jeremy Bamber guilty of the murders.
As White House Farm already seems like a self-contained story, Season 2 is unlikely to happen.
The cast of White House Farm includes Stephen Graham as DCI Thomas “Taff” Jones and Freddie Fox as Jeremy Bamber. Mark Addy as DC Stan Jones, Cressida Bonas as Sheila Caffell, and Alfie Allen as Brett Collins also appear in the show.
