Though the world may have assumed a little beef had developed between Melissa McCarthy and Barbra Streisand following the latter's viral Ozempic accusations, the two aren't letting the presumed drama ruin things for them.

ICYMI: The "Somewhere" singer went viral on Tuesday, April 30 after screenshots began circulating suggesting that she'd commented on one of the Bridesmaids alum's Instagram posts to ask, "did you take Ozempic?"

It wasn't immediately clear if the photos were real, as the comment no longer appeared on the post—at least not from Streisand—and one snap of the moment showed Streisand's username without the blue verification checkmark, leading fans to question whether she'd really published the question, but the legend confirmed its legitimacy when she took to Twitter later that afternoon to address the situation, writing, in part, "OMG...She looked fantastic! I just wanted to pay her a compliment. I forgot the world is reading!"

McCarthy responded to the drama shortly after midnight on Wednesday, May 1, uploading a video to Instagram that showed her flipping through a magazine with the songstress on the cover.

"The takeaway: Barbra Streisand knows I exist. She reached out to me—and she thought I looked good!" she celebrated. "I win the day!"

Fans were glad to see that there was no bad blood between the women, but even more so appreciated McCarthy's "kindness and class" over the situation.

"This wins best Instagram post of the week," one suggested.

"The absolute kindness and class to do this post to make sure people don’t hate her on your behalf," wrote another. "You’re a jewel ❤️."

"What a gem of a person you are," someone else agreed. "I love this response and what it says about your character."
