On The Young and the Restless, spoilers for the week of May 20 – May 24 focus on characters standing their ground, dangerous plans falling apart, and much more.

Shady Victor

For weeks, Victor Newman (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Eric Braeden) has kept Jordan (Colleen Zenk) his prisoner. He’s tortured her with pesky spiders, unlimited bottles of vodka, and icky Brussels sprouts. And nobody’s been the wiser. Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) is the only person who suspects anything. From his perspective, if Jordan is alive, he needs to protect Claire (Hayley Erin) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). It looks like he isn’t going to let up on his theory or Victor.

Victor is forced to cover his tracks. Victor’s good, but how long can he keep Jordan a secret? Thankfully, later in the week, he discovers Jordan’s escape plan. That Jordan woman is clever, maniacal, and deadly, but this time, she may not be a match for Victor. Unfortunately for the Newman patriarch, he’s about to receive unexpected visitors. Will they discover his twisted game of revenge against the woman who tried to kill his family?

Toxic, Party of Four

When Phyllis (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Michelle Stafford) called Chancellor-Winters a toxic workplace, she couldn’t be more right. This Jill/Billy versus Devon/Lily corporate war is reaching dangerous toxicity levels. Devon (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) recently tried to make a power move. It fizzled when Abby (Melissa Ordway), the deciding vote, sided with Jill (Jess Walton) and Billy (Jason Thompson).

When Billy returns from his Corporate U.S. Tour of Joy, Devon doesn’t back down. Instead, he stands his ground with Billy. Jack (Peter Bergman) has to step in when things get so bad between the two dueling egomaniacs. The Jabot Co-CEO attempts to keep the peace between the two.

Odds and Ends

Audra’s disillusionment with Tucker (Trevor St. John) means she’s spending more quality time with Nate (Sean Dominic). And it doesn’t hurt that he defends Audra (Zuleyka Silver) this week. She needs that little ego boost right about now.

As alluded to earlier, Cole thinks Victor’s sus. So much so that he chooses to follow the man in his own house. Does he discover the truth? Needless to say, he crosses the line. Ultimately, however, Cole faces a tough decision. Will he tell his family?

Summer (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Allison Lanier) has been on an anti-Claire kick since meeting Victoria’s troubled daughter. While she’s justified in her beliefs, the intensity of her dislike and mistrust is a lot. That does not stop Claire from asking Summer for a second chance. Will Summer cave and let Claire into Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) life? Will she become his nanny?
