The Way Home Renewed for Season 3 at Hallmark Channel

Hallmark Channel has found The Way Home… to a third season of its popular time-traveling family drama, TVLine has learned. The pickup comes ahead of this Sunday’s penultimate episode, with the Season 2 finale slated for March 31 at 9/8c; Season 3 will premiere in 2025.
Starring Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh, The Way Home tells the story of three generations of strong and independent women — Kat Landry (Supergirl vet Leigh), her teen daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), and Kat’s mother Del (Cedar Cove‘s MacDowell). With the help of a magical pond that allows Kat and Alice to time travel, the series explores the mystery of what happened to Kat’s little brother Jacob, who disappeared as a child.

Evan Williams (Awkward) co-stars as Kat’s high school best friend-turned-grownup love interest Elliot. The cast also includes Alex Hook (I Am Frankie), Al Mukadam (Pretty Hard Cases), Jefferson Brown (When Hope Calls) and David Webster (In the Dark).
The second season has found Kat splitting her time between the present and 1814, where she reunited with Jacob, who is now an adult (played by Reign’s Spencer Macpherson) and engaged to Elliot’s ancestor Susanna Augustine. Meanwhile, Alice began to unravel the mystery of what happened at the Lingermore estate in 2007 that led to Kat and Del’s fallout.
