The Top 12 artists on “The Voice” Season 25 found out their fates during Tuesday night’s results show after performing on Monday in front of their coaches — Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, John Legend and Reba McEntire — and America. Viewers voted for their favorite quarter-finalists overnight, but only eight sailed through to the semi-finals. The remaining four artists sang live for the instant save, with one advancing and three going home.

The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice” returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the show’s newest season, which premiered February 26 on NBC (8pm PT/ET). The show’s innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.

8:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘The Voice’!” In the 16th episode, all 12 remaining contestants sang live for the first time: Zoe Levert, Nathan Chester and Bryan Olesen of Team Legend; Karen Waldrup, Tae Lewis and Madison Curbelo of Team Dan + Shay; Nadège, Maddi Jane and Serenity Arce of Team Chance; and Josh Sanders, L. Rodgers and Asher HaVon of Team Reba. But enough about last night — let’s find out the results!

8:06 p.m. – After a performance from Reba of her new song “I Can’t,” Carson brought the top 12 to the stage to reveal the names of the first artists to advance to the semi-finals.

8:08 p.m. – The artists that advanced to the next round were Asher HaVon from Team Reba, Maddi Jane from Team Chance, and Nathan Chester from Team Legend.

8:13 p.m. – The next two artists to move on to the semi-finals were Madison Curbelo from Team Dan + Shay and Josh Sanders from Team Reba.

8:25 p.m. – Following a 20th anniversary performance of “Ordinary People” by John at the piano, Carson revealed the final three artists to make it straight to the top 9. They were Bryan Olesen from Team Legend, Serenity Arce from Team Chance, and Karen Waldrup from Team Dan + Shay.

8:34 p.m. – For their opportunity to earn the instant save, Team Reba’s L. Rodgers sang “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” and Team Chance’s Nadège sang “Smooth Operator.”

8:43 p.m. – Team Legend’s Zoe Levert sang “Slow Burn” and Team Dan + Shay’s Tae Lewis sang “The Church on Cumberland Road.”

8:55 p.m. – After the live vote on “The Voice” app and online, the artist that will be the 9th semi-finalist was Tae Lewis!
