A viral TikTok shows an alleged Starbucks order that was ‘too big’ for the blender

A TikTok user is going viral after sharing a customer’s “ridiculous” alleged Starbucks drink order.

The clip, allegedly posted by a Starbucks barista, shows a drink order with dozens of add-ons and modifications. According to the video, the beverage was so big that it couldn’t even fit in a single cup.

Of course, the post is just the latest entry in an ongoing debate about intricate, TikTok-famous Starbucks drinks — and the toll they take on employees. In recent months, former and current baristas have spoken out about the struggle to keep up with complicated orders, both by sharing their most “insane” requests and by claiming that some drinks are “designed” to get them fired.

This latest instance comes from a user named Adina (@aadinaff). In her clip, which now has almost 4 million views, the TikToker shows several employees attempting to complete a very complex alleged drink order.

Her video features what appears to be multiple employees, all trying to get the drink into its venti-sized cup. To fully mix the drink, the baristas appear to have tried combining two cups together.

“What in the five-minute crafts,” Adina captioned her post.

In a follow-up video, Adina shared the full alleged order receipt. The drink, based on that video, appears to have been an iced caramel mocha with countless syrups, add-ons and substitutes.

TikTok users mostly responded to the videos with outrage. Some believed the clip might have been staged, but many believed it was real, calling the request “ridiculous” and “crazy.”

“As a Starbucks customer I could NEVER do that to an employee,” one user wrote.

“It’s just disrespectful,” another added.
