A very familiar face is coming to Salem: Yahoo TV can officially confirm that Daytime Emmy award-winner Vincent Irizarry, known and loved by soap fans for his performance as Dr. David Hayward on All My Children, is joining Days of Our Lives. While NBC and Days producers are keeping tight-lipped about the details of Irizarry’s role, we can report that he’ll play a character with strong connections to the Kiriakis family, a prominent Salem clan.

While Irizarry began taping earlier this month, he and his mystery character will not debut on Days until early 2016. So place your bets now, DOOL fans: Who do you think he’ll be playing?
