Hostin previously opened up about gaining media access to Trump's courtroom during his ongoing hush-money trial.

After gaining media access to sit inside the courtroom hosting Donald Trump's ongoing hush-money trial, The View star Sunny Hostin has revealed that she's using a pair of binoculars to literally scope out all the tea on the legal proceedings.

"What I want to do is give a little color to the courtroom. A little color. I mean that literally and figuratively," Hostin said at the top of Tuesday's Hot Topics discussion. "No one has really reported about what you see when you're actually there. I said the other day that he appeared orange in an unnatural way, I'd never seen anyone that orange before. I now have access to binoculars in the courtroom."

Cohost Joy Behar questioned why she had binoculars in the room, to which Hostin confirmed that the size of the courtroom makes it difficult to see all of the details unfolding before them.

"They have a camera directly on Donald Trump because we're behind him, so we can't see his face, but we can see his face on the screen. While other reporters are zooming in on the documents, I'm zooming in on him," Hostin recalled. "People have been reporting that he's asleep; he's not asleep, he's enraged. That's why I think he's so orange, because it's red underneath."

The 55-year-old noted that she did observe Trump putting his head down during the courtroom, and that some people might understandably think he was falling asleep in those moments. But, Hostin said she felt he was actually hanging his head and closing his eyes while vibrating with rage.

She also said that she learned a great deal about the jury during her follow-up appearance in the courtroom, including that the jury consisted of two male lawyers, an investment banker, and a corporate attorney — all of which made sense to her, given the nature of the case involving reported hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels over their alleged affair, and allegedly falsified business records.

"This is a documents case," explained Hostin. "These guys understand documents. There were reporters falling asleep in the courtroom. Not the jury, not the lawyer with the legal pad."

Last week, when Hostin first revealed that she'd sat in on the case, she noted that Trump appeared to be the color of "burnt sienna," and also addressed reports that he farted in court.

"He's stretching out like this, fist-bumping with attorneys, he took a little nap. Most defendants do not do that," she said. "I did not smell the farting. I was sitting downwind but I did not smell the farting yesterday." Afterward, Hostin added a legal note, indicating that "Trump has pleaded not guilty to falsifying business records, and has denied ever having an affair with Stormy Daniels."
