Usher set to take the stage at this year’s Essence Festival in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Grammy award winning artist Usher is set to preform at the 30th annual Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans.

Event organizers say Usher will take the stage in a special, one-night only performance of his hit-album, “Confessions.”

Some hit songs fans could expect to hear are:

  • Yeah!

  • Burn

  • Caught Up

  • Bad Girl

Other artists set to perform alongside the most recent Super Bowl headliner are Janet Jackson, Victoria Monét and eight-time Essence Fest veteran, Charlie Wilson.

The four-day event is set to take place July, 4, and will end on July, 7 at the Caesars Superdome.
