Usher Recounts Teenage Life With Diddy In Resurfaced Clip

A resurfaced clip finds Usher recounting his teenage years living with Diddy as the Bad Boys founder faces criminal investigations. During a 2016 visit to The Howard Stern Show, the “OMG” performer recalled the Hip-Hop mogul bringing him to New York City to “see the lifestyle of a musician.”

“In the ’90s, do you understand what that’s like?” he described per Page Six. The radio host assumed this included lots of women and sex parties which resulted in the response, “Not really — but it was curious. I got a chance to see some things.”

“I went there to see the lifestyle — and I saw it,” the Super Bowl headliner added. “But I don’t know if I could indulge and even understand what I was looking at.”

He continued to explain, “There were very curious things taking place and I didn’t necessarily understand it,” adding a defiant “Hell no,” when asked if he would let his own children experience the live-in situation.

The interview clip has been brought to the forefront as Diddy, legal name Sean Combs, is being investigated for sex trafficking. On Monday (March 25) two of Combs’ residences, one in Miami and one in Los Angeles, were raided by Homeland Security. Four Jane Does and one John Doe have already been interviewed by the Southern District of New York in relation to alleged sex trafficking, sexual assault, solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms, and RICO charges.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer described the raids as “a gross use of military-level force.

“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations,” Dyer added. “Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name… [This] unprecedented ambush led to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”
