It's been close to two years since This Is Us ended on NBC, but what exactly is Mandy Moore up to these days? Well, based on a surprise clue she dropped on social media, there's a good chance we may be reunited with the Pearsons in a unique way.

In an Instagram video uploaded on March 3, fans saw the Dr. Death actress pose with former This Is Us co-stars Sterling K. Brown and Chris Sullivan in what looked to be a show-related photoshoot. As folks witnessed the trio laughing and enjoying being back together, they also witnessed Chris don the famous "Big Three" shirt in the colors of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the NFL team which played a significant role on the drama. What's more, the clip was tagged with another account called @thatwasus, which has been dropping hints about the group's secret project since January.

"……. #ThatWasUs," read the cryptic caption alongside the snippet.

When fans caught wind of Mandy alluding to something new in the works, they immediately went to the comments to beg for more information about what's to come.

"Wait wait wait WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! WHAT DOES THIS MEANNNNN????" one person screamed on Instagram. "What are y'all doing to us right now??? Because whatever it is, YES WE WANT IT!!!" another exclaimed. "What are you even sayingggg?!?! Because my heart cannot take this mystery 🥹," a different follower added.

Although Mandy is keeping her lips sealed about why she's working with Sterling and Chris again, there may be a big clue about what's down the road.

According to TVInsider, it's possible the three are working on launching a podcast sometime in the future. After all, the @thatwasus account details personal stories the three shared with their followers, and whoever created it also followed Rob Holysz, a podcast producer who works on projects like Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson. The account also follows the official This Is Us Instagram profile, meaning it likely has something to do with the former series as well.

What's more, the @thatwasus account also dropped some official behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot, with another major hint that something is coming down the pipeline.

"There’s a new big three in town …," the caption read on March 3.
