All Upcoming Disney Films Releasing in Theaters 2024

The Walt Disney Studios took the stage at CinemaCon yesterday to unveil its official theatrical slate for 2024. They revealed they have nine films heading to theaters over the coming months across all their studio branches.

The slate consists of new films from Searchlight Pictures, Pixar, Marvel Studios and more in what looks to be an exciting string of releases from the renowned studio.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (May 10, 2024)

The reign of Caesar is over, and now a new ape is on a journey of self-discovery that will lead him to question all he has known. His findings will lead him to make choices that will define the future for both apes and humans.

Young Woman and the Sea (May 31, 2024)

Daisy Ridley leads the story of Trudy Ederle, a young competitive swimmer born to immigrant parents in New York City who became the first woman to ever swim across the English Channel.

Inside Out 2 (June 14, 2024)

Pixar's long-awaited sequel to their 2015 Inside Out is heading to theaters this summer and shows Riley discovering new emotions as she hits adolescence.

Kinds of Kindness (June 21, 2024)

Yorgos Lanthimos is coming off a winning streak following the success of Poor Things, which scored Emma Stone her second Best Actress Oscar at this year's Academy Awards.

Now, he will release Kinds of Kindness, the story of a man seeking to break free from his predetermined path, a policeman alarmed by his missing-at-sea wife returning and a woman on the hunt for someone with a special ability.

Deadpool & Wolverine (July 26, 2024)

Marvel Studios is set to reclaim the summer box office with the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, which follows Wolverine and Deadpool as they team up to defeat a common enemy.

Alien: Romulus (August 16, 2024)

Fede Alvarez is set to breathe new life into the Alien franchise with a story about young space colonizers who come face to face with a horrific surprise while navigating the deep ends of a derelict space station.

A Real Pain (October 18, 2024)

Jesse Eisenberg's sophomore feature premiered at Sundance in January to rapturous reviews, with critics calling it "elegant and elegiac". A Real Pain follows cousins David and Benji, who set out on a tour of Poland to honor their grandmother.

Moana 2 (November 27, 2024)

The sequel to 2016's Moana sees Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson reprise their roles of Moana and Maui as they take on a new adventure following an unexpected call from Moana's ancestors.
