Um, Katy Perry Flashed Totally Sculpted Abs In A Bra Top In These Photos
Katy Perry just posed in a metallic bra top and skirt at a red carpet event with Miranda Kerr.
In the photos, the singer showed off her super sculpted abs.
Katy doesn't love going to the gym, and instead fits in daily movement in other ways, whether that's getting outside for a walk or hitting up a yoga class.
Katy Perry is getting major props for calling her co-parent Miranda Kerr “the heart of our family” while introducing her at the G’Day USA Arts Gala. (In case you missed it, Miranda used to be married to Katy’s husband, Orlando Bloom, and is mom to Katy’s stepson, Flynn.) But Katy didn’t just bring the sunshine to the event—she looked super strong doing it.
The 38-year-old wore a gorgeous gold, metallic bra top and matching A-line skirt that highlighted her toned abs and arms. And Miranda posted a sweet Instagram giving Katy a shoutout for her support.
Here's another photo of Katy, in case you need further evidence that she's sculpted:
While Katy's definitely super strong, she has been pretty open about not exactly loving her gym time. “My exercise routine is being half late to the workout because I hate working out," she previously told the Wall Street Journal. “I'm always like, ‘I'm so late, too bad I can only do a few things.’ The guy who works me out is like, ‘Yeah, right.’”
Katy echoed that sentiment in a recent interview with Women’s Health, noting that working out is “not my favorite thing to do with the world—unless I'm dancing or I'm snowboarding or I'm doing something that's kind of masked.”
Still, she loves to get active. Katy told WH she likes to go hiking and play pickleball with her buddies. She also tries to work out three to four times a week, doing weight training or a high-power fusion CorePower yoga class. “I sweated the most I've ever sweat,” she shared of taking the yoga class. “We were all texting afterwards and I was like, ‘My mood is unusually happy right now.’”
On the food front, Katy explained to WH that she likes to start her day with lots of water. “That is the best way to start, is just to drink water,” she shared. “I know it's such a cliché, but I think a lot of us go straight to the coffee without just drinking a glass of water.” She also likes to follow that with water with apple cider vinegar or tea with ACV.
What she eats depends on her schedule. If she’s training for a tour or residency, she likes to focus on eating three to five small meals a day. Breakfast might be “something that is light” like a banana or hard-boiled eggs, followed by lunch of a protein with a salad or soup.
Dinner is usually a protein, greens, and soup, and sometimes she’ll throw pasta into the mix, especially if it’s between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
“I've started eating earlier, which everybody swears by, but that's only because my daughter eats earlier, which is great,” she said. “I used to go to dinner at eight o'clock and anyone that tries to make [a] reservation at eight o'clock, I'm like, ‘I'm out,’ it's too much.”
Keep doing you, Katy!
