As a result of last year’s dual strikes, the broadcast networks already have more than a dozen new scripted dramas and comedies waiting for a time slot on their respective network’s schedules. This segment looks at the crowded field and how it impacts pilot season.

Remember the days of 100 broadcast pilots from a decade ago? Those days are largely over as this year, NBC and ABC are the only networks really making pilots as CBS takes a year off, and Fox and The CW change course.
