The day we've all been waiting for is finally here. No, it's not Easter or the beginning of summer — it's the day The Super Mario Bros. Movie finally hits theaters! With a star-studded cast featuring the likes of Chris Pratt, Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogan, and more, this movie is bringing the Mario-verse well beyond the beloved video games and even past the big screen itself.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie has spawned a couple of well-chosen product collabs, including one with the TikTok-, Oprah-, and editor-loved truffle-infused condiments brand, Truff. In the highly unusual event that you haven't heard of Truff by now, the brand houses products like hot sauce, pasta sauce, mayo, salt, and oil that are all infused with the luxe flavor of truffle. And seeing as we at Best Products love Truff's condiments, we were especially pumped to hear the brand was collaborating with Nintendo and Illumination to bring us all the hot sauces of the Mushroom Kingdom (or at least, we're assuming this is what Princess Peach is reaching for to spice up her food).

Today, Truff launched a Mario-fied version of its hot sauce variety pack. For just $2 more, you can get the Black Truffle Hot Sauce, the Black Truffle Hotter Sauce, and the White Truffle Hot Sauce with Mario, Toad, and Princess Peach adorning their own bottles, and all wrapped in Mushroom Kingdom packaging that is honestly like a work of art. And since truffles are a highly sought-after mushroom, after all, this collab makes total sense.
"When we first glimpsed the spectacular Mushroom Kingdom and the adorable and cheerful character Toad featured in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, we were instantly inspired," Nick Guillen, cofounder and co-CEO of Truff, said in a press release. "We had clearly found another brand that celebrates mushrooms as much as we do."
Is this not the cutest and most apropos thing? And truly, the hot sauce pack feels like a fiery celebration. I was lucky enough to receive the new variety pack ahead of its launch, and it has already brought so much joy to my fridge, as I assume it would for anyone who loves the Mario games. Of the three included in the pack, my personal favorite is the Princess Peach-adorned White Truffle Hot Sauce. It's hot but not too spicy, with a more subtle truffle flavor. But if you love heat (and/or it's a-Mario!), the Black Truffle Hotter Sauce might become your go-to, with its earthy truffle flavor, notes of chipotle, and the inclusion of red habanero powder. For those who want a more classic approach, though, the Original Black Truffle Hot Sauce adorned by Toad on the bottle is a nice twist on a classic hot sauce, with some added richness and serious depth of flavor.
