Triple H discusses WWE Speed and says that the show will eventually include the women’s roster.

WWE’s X-exclusive show, WWE Speed, premiered in April. It features matches with three-minute time limits. So far, only male superstars have competed on the series.

Speaking on Spaces, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H discussed WWE Speed. He stated that it would eventually include the women’s roster. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)

“It comes from short-form content,” Triple H said. “If we could take that feeling out process that talent have in the ring with each other and just have them go for broke right when the bell rings because they only have three minutes to get the job done. It makes for an exciting challenge for the guys. It makes for an exciting challenge for eventually what will be the women as well. So far, it’s been spectacular. The talent have really embraced this and gotten into the challenge of it. It’s been exciting for them and our fans as well.”

On the May 3 episode of WWE Speed, Ricochet will face Johnny Gargano in the finals of a tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Speed Champion. More information is available here.
