Paramount is building the hype for their new movie Transformers One movie by doing a unique launch for the trailer on April 18.

One of the stars of the film, Chris Hemsworth, dropped the news via Instagram in a video with co-star Brian Tyree Henry, where the duo revealed that the trailer will be debuting in space.

"With this movie, the sky's the limit," Hemsworth joked, but Paramount is taking it literally and plans to kick off the celebrations by live-streaming a countdown to the trailer and then showing its journey into space.

After an hour, the craft is expected to reach its peak of 125,000ft above Earth, where the trailer will then be revealed alongside a custom introduction video from Hemsworth and Henry.

The launch begins at 6am PT and will be available to stream on the @TransformersMovie social accounts, The Paramount Pictures YouTube channel, and co-streamed by Chris Hemsworth on Instagram.

Directed by Josh Cooley, Transformers One is an origin story of how Orion Pax and D-16 went from brothers-in-arms to enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Hemsworth stars as Orion Pax, with Henry as D-16, and they are joined by Scarlett Johansson, who plays Elita-1 and Keegan-Michael Key as B-127. Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm also star.
