The Traitors’ Trishelle Cannatella Spotted in Below Deck Med Trailer

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 is returning. On June 3, Captain Sandy Yawn will once again grace our television screens. This time, she’ll be navigating “the azure waters and ancient ruins of Athens, Greece” on board motor yacht Mustique.

Chief Stew Aesha Scott will be heading up the Interior Crew. Joining her is Elena Dubaich, who filled in for Kyle Viljoen when he (fake) hurt his ankle in Season 7.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted another familiar face in the sneak peek released on April 24. The Traitors star Trishelle Cannatella will apparently be a guest during the Mustique’s charter season. Let’s hope she’s a little more laid-back charter guest than Jill Zarin was.

Mustique’s crew “brings the energy” in Below Deck Med Season 9

In addition to the normal drama and crew hookups, we’ll get to share in a proposal this season. The sneak peek gives us a brief shot of Captain Sandy taking a knee for her girlfriend, Leah Shafer. Leah’s come for a visit to the yacht. What a perfect opportunity for a proposal!

Otherwise, it’s business as usual. As Captain Sandy tells us, “To run a successful charter yacht, it’s important to bring the energy.” Scenes follow of Aesha and new Chef Johnathan Shillingford twerking in the galley while Chef prepares a meal. Crew members and guests are shown having a good time, which is what they pay the big bucks for.

“We’re a team,” Sandy adds. “Teamwork makes the dream work.”

As hard as they work, the crew always manages to mix business with pleasure. They all work long, exhausting hours during a charter, but when the guests are gone, the crew cuts loose.

But as the sneak peek tells us, “mixing business with pleasure has consequences.” We can expect the usual personality clashes and boatmances, resulting in hurt feelings and tears. One of the deckhands seems to be romancing two of the female crew members at the same time, which goes as expected.

“I’m a pr*ck,” he eventually admits, “and I’m sorry.”

“This is the hardest management position I’ve ever been in,” Aesha confesses. I can’t wait to see it!

Below Deck Mediterranean premieres June 3 at 9/8c on Bravo.
