Tony Khan Attacked by The Elite and Jack Perry on AEW Dynamite

The main event of AEW Dynamite featured Jack Perry and The Elite attacking President Tony Khan. Jack Perry returned to AEW this weekend at Dynasty, aiding The Young Bucks in winning the tag team titles. Perry, wearing a mask, interrupted the match by pushing Dax Harwood from the ladder, which allowed Nickolas Jackson to climb and grab the titles.

Perry’s last appearance was at AEW All In in a match against Hook. After the match, he got into an altercation with CM Punk backstage, which resulted in Punk being fired and Perry being suspended. However, Perry returned this weekend after he was unseen on AEW programming for eight months.

In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Jack Perry stepped forward to address the fans. He expressed that some of the most memorable nights of his life had taken place in Jacksonville. Perry then called out Tony Khan. As Khan entered the ring, he stood face to face with Perry.

Perry mentioned the challenges of his journey, affirming that over the past five years, AEW has significantly impacted the world. Turning to Khan, Perry expressed his sincere desire for what’s best for AEW. With Khan’s agreeing with him, Perry requested a handshake, his reinstatement, and the continuation of their journey to change the world together.

Tony Khan decided to shake hands and hug Perry. However, out of nowhere, Perry decided to punch Khan in the stomach, knocking him down. The Elite rushed to the ring to help Khan, and The Young Bucks then attacked Khan, laying him out with the Tony Khan Driver, bringing an end to the shocking to the episode. Following the attack, several AEW stars came out to check on Khan, and even his father, Shahid Khan, was seen checking on his son.
