Toni Collette, Andy Garcia, Alex Pettyfer & Eva De Dominici Lead Rom-Com ‘Under The Stars’ With Filming Underway In Italy; Arclight To Sell At Cannes

EXCLUSIVE: Golden Globe and Emmy-winner Toni Collette (Hereditary), Andy Garcia (Ocean’s 11), Alex Pettyfer (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare) and Eva De Dominici (The Cleaning Lady) are leading cast in rom-com Under The Stars, which is now filming in Italy.

Rob Estes (After), Jessica Michel Serfaty (The Ride) and Chiara Iezzi (Mare Fuori) also star in the feature, which Arclight is launching for international sales ahead of the Cannes market. Capstone is handling domestic.

Pic follows a struggling romance novelist stuck in a passionless relationship. When he goes to Italy looking for inspiration, he unexpectedly finds the girl of his dreams.

Production is currently underway in Puglia, Italy and will continue in London.

Michelle Danner (Miranda’s Victim) is directing from a script by Victoria Vinuesa (See You In Venus). Producer is Pia Patatian (See You in Venus) and executive producers are Capstone Studios’ Christian Mercuri and Roman Viaris, Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, Jessica Michel Serfaty, Davide Meretti, Arclight Films’ Gary Hamilton and Ying Ye, and Brandos Film’s Gian G. Foschini. Capstone Studios is financing.

Oscar nominee Collette has Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17 and Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2 upcoming. Garcia’s recent credits include Pain Hustlers and Miranda’s Victim.

Magic Mike actor Pettyfer most recently starred in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. De Dominici is best known for her three seasons in Fox series The Cleaning Lady and for recent SXSW feature The Uninvited.

Arclight Films’ current slate also includes Paul Schrader’s Cannes competition title Oh, Canada starring Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Michael Imperioli and Jacob Elordi.

Collette is repped by CAA, Finley Management and United Management; Garcia is repped by Linden Entertainment and CAA; De Dominici is repped by Gersh, Untitled Entertainment, Hansen Jacobson, and Twelve Entertainment in Rome; Estes is repped by Global Artists Agency.
