New York-based TikTok star Eva Evans, who also created the “Club Rat” series, has reportedly died by suicide. She was 29.

The native New Yorker’s body was found hanging in her apartment late Saturday by a friend who had seen her the previous morning, authorities told TMZ.

The friend, who had a key to the residence, told authorities they were unaware of any mental health issues Evans might have been experiencing. Sources told the outlet a note was found at the scene, though its contents are not currently known.

At the time of publication, Evans’ TikTok has over 312,000 followers, and nearly 30,000 people currently follow her Instagram account. She last shared posts on both platforms on Thursday.

“Rest in peace, angel Eva,” former “Hills” star Lo Bosworth commented on her last Instagram post. “You were always kind to me when others couldn’t be bothered. Will never forget that kindness.”

“I will miss you so much I love you so much,” Julia Fox, known for her role in “Uncut Gems,” commented on Evans’ final TikTok.

Evans’ death was first announced by her sister Lila, via Instagram.

“Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” she wrote. “After 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be. … i wish i had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what i don’t.”

She said that the family would be holding “a celebration of Eva” on Tuesday evening at Grace Church in downtown Manhattan, noting the event would be open to “anyone who loved Eva.” Attendees are asked to wear “anything f–king fabulous, but no pressure. All dark colors.”

Evans’ death comes just days after that of 36-year-old TikTok star Kyle Marisa Roth.
